I guess that was part of the problem.

When you have a job or you have school or you have something in your life sometimes you have those days that you don't want to do anything but you do anyways because you have a job or school or whatever and the doing gets you over your ennui. 

But when you don't have those things and you have one of those days it goes like this:

(that blank space is supposed to be some kind of poetical metaphor for how my day is going. I want to do a run-on ellipses but it didn't look quite right. Hopefully the blank space is doing the trick. I'll make another blank space for good measure.)

I mean, despite the fact that I'm wearing the clothes I slept in and my comfy robe, I actually have done alright. I finished listening to the Personal Finance lecture I started yesterday, I applied to a job and sent a follow up email to another and I've updated my blog. It just not the kind of purpose driven life I like to be living.
