The Poem With No Rhyme nor Rhythm for No Rhyme nor Reason
(besides the reason of describing my Day of nor Rhyme nor Reason)
The kindergarten read a book about a monster
He would not eat an olive
He would not eat an orange
He would not eat a sandwich
He only ate rhymes.
Reading such a thing on such a day made me anxious
Such a problem
But read it we did from top to bottom.
Later we ate sushi
For no reason or something.
In the eating I was engulfed
The pickings were not scarce
I mayhaps have taken a fifth or sixth.
But my stomach was not so empty
As to ignore our incessant comments
Proving our distance made not our reunion false.
